Manpower Survey Results in November 2018

      Total employment in November 2018 was 11,475,000, which increased by 15,000(+0.13%) from the previous month; moreover, it increased by 77,000 (+0.68%) from that of the previous year.

      The unemployment rate fell by 0.05 percentage points to 3.70 percent in November 2018; moreover, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell by 0.01 percentage points to 3.69 percent. The number of unemployed persons was 441,000 in November 2018, which decreased by 5,000(-1.23%) from the previous month; however, it increased by 2,000(+0.30%) from that of the previous year.

      Labor force participation rate was 59.11 percent in November, which rose by 0.03 percentage points from the previous month; moreover, it rose by 0.17 percentage points from that of the previous year.
