The CPI in August 2019 was 102.84(2016=100) which decreased 0.02% from the preceding month, and rose 0.43% compared with the same month of 2018. The WPI was 103.19(2016=100) which increased 0.50% from the preceding month, and fell 3.44% compared with the same month of 2018.
