Total employment in December 2017 was 11,405,000, which increased by 7,000(+0.06%) from the previous month; moreover, it increased by 90,000 (+0.80%) from that of the previous year.
The unemployment rate dropped by 0.05 percentage points to 3.66 percent in December 2017, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose by 0.01 percentage points to 3.70 percent.
