The Price Indices for December 2016

The CPI in December 2016 was 105.46 (2011=100) which decreased 1.00% from the preceding month, and went up 1.70% compared with the same month of 2015. In 2016, the CPI increased 1.40%, and the core CPI increased 0.84%. The WPI was 86.19 (2011=100) which increased 1.09% from the preceding month, and moved up 1.41% compared with the same month of 2015. In 2016, the WPI went down 3.01%.
